Halfachess

A fast version of Chess with deck building elements that creates unusual endgames.

To play you will need:

• A Chess board that can be folded in half.
• Two full sets of Chess pieces.
• The print and play deck of cards and instructions you’ll find below.

This game was designed and playtested in a couple of weeks in between calls while trapped in a call center production floor. It was then rebuilt from memory after freeing myself. Thank you to the friends for helping me playtest it, and for offering games to keep each other sane and entertained at 2am providing subpar customer service to subpar people.
